What should i expect my first time having sex?

ive been dating this guy for a rly long time. He isnt a virgin, but i am. im not too sure how or what to expect, i hear ppl saying it hurt rly bad and others saying it didnt at all. and bleeding? im not afraid of having sex, im afraid of the unknown.
